It’s been a while since I wrote a restaurant review. I would love to say life got in the way, but I just got distracted. The new Blogging101 and Photography101 program is making me much more regular blogger (and there is so much to learn!)
Last weekend, myself and a friend planned a full day outing, starting with breakfast at 8:30-9:00am! Now, as much as I pride myself on being a morning person, Bangalore doesn’t. 🙂
We did a wide research on restaurants/cafes which open for breakfast. Sadly, most of the places open at this hour are Darshinis (South Indian fast food joints). However, neither of us wanted to eat South Indian. We were more in the mood of classic english breakfast.
So, we stumbled upon Cafe Buzzinga! Yes, that’s the name of this tiny cafe tucked inside Lake View Farm residency in Whitefield. As you enter this place, you are not really sure if you are entering the cafe or a residential area. But there just around the corner you see this tiny open air place with patio furniture!
Cafe Buzzinga is a warm cozy place which is perfect for a lazy breakfast. They have a yellow wall on one side full of posters and paintings of groups and sitcoms… This one I assume inspired the name:
One thing they make you aware of from the very start is that they are a small owner run business, and all dishes are made on order. Hence, the order can take 15-20minutes to reach your table (So you need to take the term lazy a little seriously). But that didn’t bother us. It was a nice morning with great weather.
The food is very home like. We ordered French toast, croissant and coffee. All of them were perfect for a breakfast!
It’s a simple place. You can take board games there and play while you wait for your order. Try it! worth a shot!
